The Center of Volunteers for the Fatherland was created the 10 of August of 1982 as an answer to the campaign of desmalvinización implemented by the military government. It counted with 11,458 members that had  offered as Volunteers during the war against England.   

  Our  objectives were  continue fighting, by other means,for  the recovery of the Falklands Islands.  Also to make Argentineans take conscience that the loss of a battle did not have to mean the resignation to the final objective and  implemented a campaign of acts that maintained alive the demonstrated national passion during the conflict.  

  In the following pages a series of notes of  those  times  appeared in different national and foreign mass media that demonstrate the activity of the Organization and the problems  that their activities caused to the British government.   All these activities, absolutely pacific, but with ample international repercussion, forced the English government to declare the president of the Center, Ing. Osvaldo Destefanis, the public enemy Number  1  ,  as it can be appreciated in the document that issues  the British embassy in Buenos Aires.  

  We believe that the definitive recovery of the Falklands Islands will depend on the price that the usurpers must pay to maintain them. History demonstrates that never England gave back a colony without being forced. And there are many ways to force it peacefully.  It depends on all, citizens and government to find the way definitively to expel the invaders from our territory.

  Margaret Thatcher declared in the British parliament that Destefanis was " pain in the ass "  for her government. That is a price to pay.

  The Center of Volunteers organized the first trip to the Falklands Islands for the relatives of the fallen ones in combat. The same one began with the clawing of the Argentine steam Lago Lacar the 29 of March of 1983.   Destefanis, 47 relatives and 9 journalists French, Spaniards and North Americans traveled along with . 

  The 29 of March of 1984, Ing. Destefanis, along with Ramon Pizarro father of a fallen soldier and Victor Cisneros, brother of the famous commando " Cisneros Dog " disembarked in the Falklands and hoisted an Argentine flag. This fact caused to the destitution of then the military governor Major General Keith Spacie.

  The 19 of November of 1983 Destefanis embarked like stowaway in the Swedish steamship Lindblad Explorer that  made the trip from Montevideo to the Falklands, Georgias and Antártida arriving again at the Falklands Islands. 

  In June of 1984 along with a group Irish and French patriots  pulled down  the English flag in the british islands  of  Minquiers (English Channel) hoisting in his place the Argentine flag.   

   In Argentina were done campaigns of harasing against the  Bank of London (today Lloyds Bank) financial agent  of U.K , de  during the war.
